How to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day
“May your troubles be less and your blessings be more
& nothing but happiness comes through your door”
We’ve celebrated Green Beer Sunday and Parade Day, but the main event is coming up - St. Patrick’s Day! Here’s a quick guide to hosting the most festive St. Patty’s Day party with half of the hassle!
We all own a “Kiss Me I’m Irish" shirt for the one day we’re all Irish, St. Patrick’s Day! Green bows and beads are a nice touch to bring out the green in all of us. Shamrock stickers and green glitter are a must to match our green souls. Hosting a dinner party can be stressful but with these tricks you can host the best Patty’s Party of all time!
What to Snack On: Lets face it, bikini season is coming around the corner but that won’t stop us from celebrating our lucky day! Some easy stress-free and healthy finger foods that go with the “green theme” include cut up celery and cucumber with delicious dips, such as ranch and spin dip with chips!
For a Touch of Luck: Cut up strawberries, cantaloupe, pineapple, and grapes. After all fruits are in bite size pieces assemble them into a rainbow shape and see if you can find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!
What to Drink: With lots of inspired green cocktails for the holiday, we recommend mixthatdrink.com to find the perfect St. Patty’s day jiggle juice for you and your guests!
What to Make: Irish Stew - An easy Irish traditional dish with little preparation. Full recipe can be found at foodnetwork.com with step-by-step directions!
Decor: Everyone knows in order to set the right tone for a themed party the decorations must be creative! Even if you’re planning a laid back bash, you can still be festive! Green paper plates and plastic silverware are cheap, cute and are beneficial for an easy clean up to ensure the host spends as much time celebrating at possible! Any craft store has a “themed” section for upcoming holidays, so head on into your favorite store to get inspired to what you want for your party!
Wishing you loves a happy, healthy and very lucky St. Patrick’s Day!
