Meet our New Intern- Mariel Brinkerhoff

Hi everyone! My name is Mariel and I’m a recent graduate of the College at Brockport and a former student of Agathi’s. It was through class that I learned about Agathi and Co. and all the exciting work the company does around Rochester, and was immediately intrigued.

Surprisingly, my background isn’t in event planning, it’s in integrated marketing and public relations. The common ground for me is that I love doing work that makes people happy, and I have yet to find anything that makes people happier than walking into a beautifully planned creative event!

I’m looking forward to meeting and making connections with the creative professionals who work to make Rochester a vibrant city, gaining professional experience working on social media, blogging and public relations for a small business and learning all about what it takes to orchestrate an event. I’m so excited to experience the process of watching an event come to life step by step. Between Dinner on the Bridge, the opening of the Arbor Loft and much more, I’m excited to get started and see what the future has in store!
